"Dumber than Dirt" discusses America's looming trend towards the profoundly dumb. The group shall comment on the various factors shaping the minds and perspectives of the idiotic population. This exploration goes beyond an idiotic fixation with junk food, television and cell phones. It discusses a predisposition towards slacking, wussiness, passive-aggressive behavior, xenophobia, isolation, doomed conformity (lemming), dogmatism, lower expectations, illiteracy, de-skilling, dispassion, etc. It looks at the implications and trends unto the "dumbing down" of society as it is seen within education, politics and the work place. It is a sociological and philosophical discussion that is timely to contemporary American society, as much as it is an established dialog that is found in the ancient works of Plato's Republic.
